My little girl had a sweet little idea. When she told me she wanted to make flower arrangements with lavender from our backyard, I told her to go for it.
She took out a few little vases, used my twine and scissors and went outside. It was too cute to resist. I had to stop what I was doing and join her.
Her intention was to make them for our kitchen table. She was super excited when I asked if she’d like to make some arrangements for Thanksgiving.
It meant so much for the two of us to work on planning and setting the pieces together. This is what we came up with.
It’s nice to just stop and watch.
I love taking photos of small moments with my kids. They are real and precious. These are the times I want to look back on and remember – with my adorable ‘baby,’ who just wants to be by my side, and for me to love what she is doing. And I do. What we have is so simple and pure. I am thankful every day.
