Mili’s Sweets was hired to set Connie and Corbin’s wedding cake and dessert table at Tivoli Italian Villa – tucked into the beautiful hills of Fallbrook, California. We went with all crisp and clear pieces to set their dessert table, where guests would patiently wait to enjoy their custom menu.
Before placing the plates after we unload on-site, we sketch a schematic for how our dessert table plating and pedestals will be placed. This helps us to be organized and know what to fill when we arrive. This layout fit just over 200 mini desserts, with a 6″ two layer wedding cake at the center.
On the dessert bar menu: mini Cream Puffs, Strawberry Shortcake Trifles, mini Cheesecake, Chocolate Tiramisu, Vanilla Velvet Cheesecake, chocolate-dipped Biscotti, and Mango Bars
This has to be my all time favorite glass pedestal – placed in the center. A dear friend gave this vintage piece to me, and it suits the wedding cake so perfectly. I placed it onto an acrylic cube to add height and dimension.
Levant Lane was responsible for providing the gorgeous florals for the cake. I used their clippings to decorate the cake on-site. It’s always more fun with there is this amount of beauty to work with. Added bonus, the ladies of Levant Lane are incredibly generous, kind, and wonderful to work with.

Here was Connie and Corbin’s dessert table in the evening-light. I can’t wait to see more photos of their big day! They were a real joy to work with, and I feel fortunate for the opportunity to fulfill this work.
