It’s so fun to treat a little girl to the simple things she loves on her birthday. One of my dearest and oldest friends celebrated her baby girl’s 3rd birthday with a pink-princess theme. My gift was catering and styling the dessert table, with special details to make Malia’s day extra special.
I thought of all the small details Malia might enjoy and made sure to incorporate them on the table – ribbon for the pink lollipops, pink tulle bows all around the table, and lots of mini cupcakes with details like sparkling gems, bows and pretty sprinkles.
Her cake had three tall layers of pink velvet, vanilla and chocolate, with pink, piped vanilla butter cream and soft candy pearls. I wrapped it with a tulle bow, to match the table decor.
There’s no doubt that Malia’s favorite part of the table was the vanity I set especially for her to enjoy. I customized a store-bought tiara and gave her a set of pearls and other dainty and age-appropriate treats to make her feel special and to add more pretty pink details to the table.
We couldn’t get over how happy and beautiful she was on her special day. This was a wonderful memory!
