Wedding white and blues were on display, when we fulfilled both dessert catering and full-scale florist services, at Tivoli in Fallbrook on the last Thursday of 2022.
venue: Tivoli . florist: Glorified Hobby . dessert catering: Mili’s Sweets
Reception tabletops were styled with a gauze runner, six-foot runners in Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, three of our hurricane glass with white pillar candles, two full bud vases, and six votive candles.

The sweetheart table was decorated with front-corner arrangements, and single stems placed within a greenery runner, floor candle holders selected from the venue’s offerings, hurricane pillar candles, votive candles, and our two large ceremony arrangements that were moved to the ground during cocktail hour, to make the most of every piece, and complete the abundant look we wanted to achieve.
Placed front and center of the fountain at Tivoli, was our Mili’s Sweets catered dessert table and wedding cake, with matching runner and votives.
Dessert Menu
- Cannoli
- mini Pumpkin bars with maple buttercream
- mini Vanilla Cheesecake bars
- mini Tiramisu trifles
- mini Tres Leches trifles
- mini Lemon Ricotta Torte trifles
- mini Mango cupcakes
The wedding cake was a 6″ custom three-layer, with cake layers in Churro, Mexican Hot Cocoa, and Strawberry with Champagne. Fillings were cinnamon brown sugar buttercream, and fresh strawberry buttercream.
We seal our classic-recipe wedding cakes in white chocolate ganache. This cake was covered in smooth + rib technique for vanilla buttercream, and decorated gold leaf, and a clean and modern approach with the finer floral stems. I love how sharp it looked!
Guest book table florals included a few bud vases.
The ceremony opted out of an arch and used the open space under Tivoli’s beautiful oak tree for vows, with a framed image of Our Lady ofGuadalupe on display to the side, and two large pedestal arrangements on wine barrels that were placed at the end of the main aisle.
Yesterday we also fulfilled bouquets and boutonnières, but I was not able to take photos of them. I hope to see photographer-photos of Ray & Frankie’s wedding day. This was meaningful and special work for me personally, as we worked closely together to make this wonderful dream of a day come to fruition.
