We were so happy to cater an abundantly-full dessert table at Green Gables in San Marcos. I’m sharing the menu and details of our catering work: for and with our bride, Tiffanie.
The dessert table centerpiece was a custom 8″ three-layer wedding cake, made classic-recipe, with both Marble and Double Dutch Chocolate cakes, with fresh strawberry buttercream filling. It was sealed in white chocolate ganache, and covered in vanilla buttercream with a smooth-technique.

Tiffanie selected quantities of three dozen per dessert item, totaling 252 minis laid out on her full dessert table display that we fully serviced with riser-rentals, set-up, and tear-down.
More than half of our wedding clients this year were out of state/town, enjoying a San Diego destination wedding with their family and friends. I worked with Tiffanie over phone consultation and email to secure her booking. She was in town months before her wedding date, and was able to take advantage of our “choose your tasting” packages before making finalized flavor choices.
The cake was cut as well, allowing for a little more than 50 additional servings, with a grand total of 300 dessert portions for guests.
Wedding cake is always a joy for me to decorate. I personally do this onsite, and absolutely love it when the client has a look in mind, and a generous number of stems are set aside for me to place. The goal is to exceed the expectations of the wedding couple, and create something one of a kind, without compromising the stability of the cake, or individual slices.
The pedestal and riser options Tiffanie chose from our offerings, where a combination of White & Wood, complementing the venue, and the floral-aesthetic. Tiffanie was thrilled with our work, and we always appreciate the trust and opportunity. This was so fun to fulfill.
