Ground Ceremony Arch
Lauren wanted something different, and beyond a posted-shaped arch within this space, with arrangements that would transfer in an amazing way for the base of the sweetheart table. I was so excited when this finally came to fruition!
Colors & Feel
It was so fun to work with Lauren to fulfill her vision! We literally enjoyed the phone consultations! The process of working together and finalizing details didn’t feel like “work” at all! Client-vendor is a relationship dynamic, and it feels extra nice and amazing when there is a “click” and friendship.
The overall aesthetic-goal for the florals would add their personal touch onto the already-gorgeous venue. Our key words and colors: classic-beauty, romantic, and soft – in pink, blush, and white.
Lauren’s Bouquet
This beautiful bride! This family! I had the pleasure of meeting up with Lauren and her mom to hang out for a few moments behind the scenes. Bouquet presentation is one of the most important and exciting moments for a wedding florist.
hair + makeup: The Pretty Parlor
bridal gown: Vivienne Atelier Los Angeles
Lauren’s bouquet was full and round, with a variety of all the best roses from her day, plus wax flower, and ranunculus.
Reception
Our layout for the farm tables included three bountiful bud vases, on white gauze table runners, with gold votive candles and white pillar candles in our glass hurricane shades.
The weather had us waiting on hold for part of the afternoon. The couple ended up hosting both an outdoor and indoor reception! We finished as originally planned, but after cocktail hour and the guests were seating for dinner, Mother Nature made other plans. The cold and drizzle made its way in. Without delay, the decision was made, and the Tivoli team transferred every little thing into the warmth and coverage of the venue’s tented space. The guests were delighted by how seamless they made it work out so well. (I was super impressed!) The coordinators and staff at Trademark venues are top-tier. We LOVE working alongside them.
Sweetheart Table
Tent-set! The ground arch made for a gasp of beauty in front of the sweetheart table.
Molly captured the lighting, mood, the fun, and the beauty of this reception so perfectly!
Seeing these smiles makes me so happy!
Wedding Cake & Dessert Table
PURE JOY with these two! They were having the time of their lives – as they should. I can’t get over their cake cutting and first taste. It’s a best part for me.
The couple booked one of our “choose your tasting” packages, to help them decide that Mili’s Sweets was the right fit to book, and to fine-tune their wedding cake and dessert menu.
Dessert Table Menu:
- Cannoli
- mini Salted Dulce de Leche Mousse trifles
- mini Lemon Bars
- mini Raspberry-Vanilla Swirl Cheesecake Bars
- mini Millionaire Bars
- mini Vanilla Biscoff cupcakes
- small-bake cookies in Birthday Sprinkles
- small-bake cookies in Chocolate Toffee Pretzel
Their 8″ three-layer wedding cake was a custom Neapolitan. Cake layers included Dutch Chocolate, Vanilla Velvet with a reservoir of Italian Custard, and Very Strawberry. Fillings were Dutch chocolate buttercream for the first, and fresh strawberry buttercream for the second. It was sealed in white chocolate ganache, and covered in vanilla buttercream with a smooth + rib finish. I placed the flowers while decorating with the buttercream, rather than doing so onsite, when we are not the florist. It really helps to have the flowers on-hand and before it is placed in the fridge because it will all hold up and set so well.
They also ordered a mini individual cake (not shown) to take home with them.
They chose to hire Mili’s Sweets for full dessert catering services, including set up and tear down, selecting our Neutral Gold and White pedestals and risers.
You can tell that they were having too much fun to worry about the cake cutting being an exact time within their evening. Guests were invited to enjoy dessert before the cake cut, and that was perfect timing and how they chose to do it!
This was a very special wedding day for me and Glorified Hobby and Mili’s Sweets teams. It was touching and a gift for both Lauren and Dan to go out of their way to stop and talk with us at tear down to tell us about their over the moon happiness with our work for them. Their generosity and kindness really touched my heart. Couples like this, and fulfilling work like this, make my heart feel extra grateful.
Thank you Masciarelli family!
