This post features the stunning photography of Essence of June, who beautifully captured the overflowing love and joy surrounding Tianna and Christian’s wedding day. Even a year later, these moments still feel so vivid!

It’s not every day you get to create for your own family – with a custom cake and dessert table through Mili’s Sweets, and florals fulfilled through Glorified Hobby. I was honored to be present the moment she was born, so to witness and contribute to her wedding day was incredibly special to my heart.

The dessert table was laid out on one 8′ farm table, with 360 servings, offering three servings per guest. We went with all white risers and platters, with all glass for the pedestals.

The wedding cake was moved to a cutting-table before guests entered the reception.

The couple wanted a round 6″ two-layer cutting cake, decorated in a vintage piping style, with “just married” written at the top. I added pearl accents and little swirls and hearts. I made it totally unique for them, as I do every wedding cake. Flavors included a dark Dutch Chocolate with brownie bite cake layers, filled with fresh raspberry buttercream frosting.
